WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT UGANDA?

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT UGANDA?

Uganda in January

January currently holds the top spot for being the driest month out of the entire year’s twelve months. This is due to the beautiful, blue skies and dry, clear roads that make travel simple and lower the danger of accidents throughout this month. As a result, January is the best month to travel to Uganda and participate in a variety of activities, such as gorilla trekking in Uganda, which requires dry landscapes to allow for smooth human mobility and, as a result, successful activity.

Uganda in February

As stated before, January holds the top spot. Following closely behind is February, which is also one of the dry months. The customers who traveled to Uganda for gorilla trekking and other activities that require hiking and wildlife drives have also benefited from this month. The boat tour activity is carried out flawlessly in February, allowing the tourists to see all the animals without being distracted by the weather.

Uganda in February also offers a greater variety of bird species, and Uganda is regarded as the best country to date for welcoming visitors who are bird lovers. The months of December through February are ideal for spotting these bird species. One could wonder why we usually add in February, and the answer is because migratory birds arrive in large numbers during this month, which results in an increase in the variety of bird species. The beautiful weather and abundance of migratory birds from December through February make Uganda an excellent place to go birding all year long.

Uganda in March

March is officially the rainiest season of the year. Up until May, this is the wet season. The rains are excessive, heavy, and frequent during these months, to the point where they can begin in the morning or afternoon and last until late at night. Roads, forests, and national parks are too muddy and difficult to navigate during this month for someone to go hiking or engage in activities like chimpanzee and gorilla trekking. But if you need assistance, the rangers will lift you up so you may carry on with your activities. This should not deter you from visiting Uganda for an adventure safari.

Travelers are recommended to arrive during this month with waterproof shoes, gumboots, long sleeve shirts, and other items to help them get through this busy but delightful activity. These primates typically descend from higher places to lower slopes during this month of the rainy season to seek warmth and comfort. The gorillas and chimpanzees are easier for the customers to appreciate and see properly as a result.

Uganda in April

April is the month of the year that sees an abundance of rain, to the point that it becomes hazardous. Due to the lack of competition in the parks and the low volume of visitors, travelers to Uganda during this month are almost always given preference for relatively affordable lodging. As a result, you will have to appreciate the wilderness by yourself while having an adventurous experience and a special safari while taking in the lovely sounds of the singing birds, among other things. Don’t be shocked if you encounter slick, uneven, muddy, or otherwise unsettling roads that make driving challenging.

Uganda in May

The rainy season comes to an end in May. However, there is still a chance that the rain may make things worse for the roads and make walking harder and harder.

Uganda in June

June is the beginning of the peak season, which is anticipated to occur in June. Because the jungles and forests are dry during this month, clients have the opportunity to go hiking in the wild without being bothered. This is because everything is dry and the sky is clear, which obviously benefits bird watchers who have come to go bird watching. The customers will benefit from being able to take photos and observe the birds clearly in their natural settings. This makes this month the ideal time to travel to Uganda.

Uganda in July

July is another ideal month of the year, when the dry season is still present and more people are doing treks and other activities in national parks. This is due to the dryness and clarity of the month. Even though this month may have been dry, we still anticipate some very strong rains.

Uganda in August

August is also the end of the dry season. The atmosphere and weather are ideal this month. The skies and clouds are especially clear and blue throughout this month, making it easy for the guests to roam around during their safari.

Uganda in September

This month receives rains more frequent in September than they are in the drier months of June through August. Here, there are walking routes and clear, dry roads. The forests are dry and ideal for passing through and going on a hike. Since there isn’t much rain in this area, the national park’s vegetation cannot be made to look good and alluring. The benefit, though, is that because the animals are constantly on the river’s back taking water, this month makes it easier for the clients to witness the wildlife.

Uganda in October

In Uganda, October is the month of the year, which signifies the end of the busy travel period. It is still drier than the wet months of March to May, though. The price of the accommodations is again cut throughout the month of October, which raises the volume of customers coming in to make reservations.

Uganda in November

In Uganda, this month of November occupies the second spot during the rainy season. The rains in this month are so intense that they cause the roads to become slick and muddy, which makes traveling on a safari challenging because it leads to several accidents.

Uganda in December

As the rains begin to subside in this, the penultimate month of the year, the dry season officially begins. Aside from December, there are other dry months in Uganda, such as February, June, and September. As a result, Uganda receives a large number of bookings from tourists who want to trek gorillas, chimpanzees, and other animals during these months because it is easy to spot them at watering holes.
